Welcome to Jäger's Farm in the South Jersey pines. The black Giant Schnauzer and head of homestead security, the farm is home to a growing crew of goats, ducks, ducklings, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, and our farm rabbit.

Our hens delivered their first surprise chicken egg collection earlier than expected this November, joining our full-dozen harvests of fresh duck eggs.
Full spring production of farm-fresh duck and chicken eggs is on the way for Spring 2027 right here in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
Jäger is a black Giant Schnauzer who takes his job as farm guardian seriously while staying gentle with the smallest hatchlings on the homestead. Whether he is trotting alongside the chicken flock, greeting visitors on his hind legs at the gate, or snapping at garden-hose rainbows, he is the heart of the farm.
Nobody enters the paddock without a proper welcome at the gate. Out in the wooded runs, Jäger trots calmly behind the chickens and guinea fowl while they forage through the oak leaves and pine needles.
Despite his size, Jäger knows how to settle right down to eye level. He rests paws-out beside young birds fresh from the brooder tank and trades quiet nose-to-nose hellos through the fence with the farm rabbit.
Between chore rounds, Jäger covers the open lawn at full gallop and chases the garden-hose spray whenever the sun catches a rainbow across the yard.
Farm life is even better when the rest of the dog crew visits. Jäger celebrated his birthday with his friends and plenty of yard time with his canine pals.
Every paddock, coop, and pen on the homestead has its own characters. Here is a closer look at the animals that live under Jäger's rule.
Curious, vocal, and always first to investigate anything new at the fence line. Whether they are climbing their wooden spools under the pines or stepping right up to the camera lens with bright blue eyes, the goats keep the paddock lively all day.
Our striking black-and-white pied ducks and green-headed drakes move across the pine-needle runs in a tight crew. With new ducklings expected to hatch around November 11, 2026, the waterfowl flock is one of the fastest-growing parts of the farm.
From barred, speckled, and golden buff hens to pearl guinea fowl and turkeys (including Turk keeping everyone in line), the poultry crew stays busy foraging across the yard. After our surprise first chicken egg collection in early November 2026, both duck and chicken eggs will be available starting Spring 2027.
Our golden-brown lop-eared rabbit enjoys quiet afternoons in the enclosure and regular fence-side visits with Jäger. Around the yard, visiting canine friends even find their way into the lower forks of the shade trees to survey the whole property.
When Halloween rolls around in Mays Landing, both Jäger and the goats suit up in matching white ghost sheets for a patrol through the autumn leaves, the chicken run, and the goat fence.
